Blogging in the Classroom

WELL, I was speaking with Leslie the other day, and saying that I was so excited about all of these new things that I was bringing out of my CMC class. I was complaining that I have all of these new ideas, and no students to try them out on. SO, she said, well, why don't you teach ME how to do that blogging stuff and I'll teach it to the grade nines.

BINGO!

SO, she has been briefed on everything, created her own blog:

And will be introducing blogs to her grade nines this week. The entire school is doing a novel study, and the blogs will be used as an online reflection, as well as a way to do writing responses that Leslie posts on the class blog.

I'm very excited about this. I'll subscribe to the Bishop Lloyd blogs (this is the school where I did my internship), and keep you posted here as to how this experiment is going! I've very excited to see how it all works out, and how the students receive the idea of blogging.
